Responsive Classroom
At Mundo Verde, we use Responsive Classroom as an evidence-based approach to teaching and discipline, based on the premise that children learn best when they have both academic and social-emotional skills.
Responsive Classroom focuses on engaging academics, positive community, effective management, and developmental awareness through practices such as morning meetings, collective norm creation, positive teacher language, logical consequences, working with families, and collaborative problem-solving.
