ACADEMICS
Due to snow school closures (two days) in January, our school’s calendar is two days below the required 180 days of instruction for the school year. Mundo Verde submitted a waiver request to OSSE and has not received a response yet. In the event of no response o not acceptance of the weaver, Mundo Verde will use “situational distance learning days”. Students would receive work packets to take home for June 17 and 18 to determine attendance, and will be due June 18. Students who do not submit their packets will have an excused absence mark.
Kinder to 2nd Grades
In the upcoming weeks, students from Kinder through 2nd grades will take the Measures of Academic Progress assessment (MAP). MAP is an assessment to measure their Math, English, and Spanish growth and proficiency.
Instructional staff uses this as one data point to help inform instruction for all students. Click on the images to enlarge them.
