Last week all families in K-5th should have received their children’s MAP report. If you did not, please email platforms@mundovedepcs.org.
MAP reports this year look slightly different from previous years due to a technology issue that Mundo Verde experienced when sending the reports out. We are working with the platform to solve this issue. In addition to this situation, we have received questions about how to read this report. Please read this guide and Q&A in English / Spanish.
Stay tuned for more info on MAP Reports.

Congratulations to our Students Who Participated!
Mundo Verde students took the DC Math Challenge hosted by Harmony DC PCS among students from public, private, and charter schools.
These Mathematicians did an amazing job, as they were the first 3rd and 4th graders to participate. They all took a paper and pencil test, enjoyed lunch, and waited for the award ceremony.
Congratulations to our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders who participated!!
Calle Ocho 4th graders (Rayan, Nat and Elliot ) made it as the top 10 finalists. Nat was awarded 2nd place. Our math teachers, Ms. Any and Ms. Marina, are very proud of all their students. Click here to see more pictures from this fascinating event.
HEALTH & SAFETY
A smooth arrival and dismissal are paramount to ensure a safe and happy learning environment. Calle Ocho campus is located in a non-commercial zone with narrow residential streets making traffic very challenging.
Neighboring residents and organizations continue to complain to us and local officials that some parents/caregivers are engaging in unsafe driving and possibly illegal behaviors. Mundo Verde is seeking support from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD). Our staff are here to help students and families during arrival and dismissal but we are not law enforcement officials. To continue being good neighbors, the school has now reached out to MPD to seek support for ticketing and traffic monitoring. MPD will be visiting the area on random days of the week.
A friendly reminder to respect our neighbors at Washington Jesuit Academy. We understand that finding parking can be challenging, but please refrain from parking next door at the Washington Jesuit Academy. Their lot is not a public parking space, and we have heard complaints from our neighbors. We kindly ask for your cooperation so that the schools can remain in good standing and supportive neighbors.
We thank the vast majority of families who are already helping make sure this busy time is also a safe time.
