3rd-5th grade families should have received individual notifications via ParentSquare about the upcoming secure spring testing. Below you will find the full list of testing dates by campus. Earth Day BINGO!
Celebrate Earth Day with a game of Sustainability Bingo with your family! Get five in a row by April 30 for a chance to win a small prize! Start the challenge by digitally filling out your bingo card in either English or Spanish to reduce paper waste.
Update: Annual Anacostia River Earth Day Cleanup - April 20
Join the Anacostia Watershed Society for Earth Day cleanup! The Brookland location that was being advertised as Mundo Verde's meetup spot, has reached capacity. Represent Mundo Verde at any location. Wear Mundo Verde shirts, take photos, and share them with Ms. Carissa. Register here!
Mundo Verde Trash Cleanup - April 28
Participate in a trash cleanup on Sunday, April 28 from 2:00-4:00pm! Pick from two locations: Start at the J.F. Cook campus and clean up to New York Ave Park, or begin at the Calle Ocho campus and clean up to Turkey Thicket. Register here!

We appreciate your understanding as we cancel the Coffee with the Calle Ocho Principals scheduled for April 24. DC CAPE assessment dates are coming up, and Principal Liz and Dean Alli will use this time to do a Pep Rally with third and fourth graders to cheer them up.

The Mundo Verde Board of Directors will be holding a regular Board meeting on Thursday, May 2. All regular and special board meetings are open to the public, providing the opportunity for stakeholders to observe board operations. The meeting will take place virtually from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
